A moving proof
Meet the story of a horse named Baron.
The mask was created at the request of a friend who runs a "retirement home" for horses. Baron — an elderly horse — needed daily inhalation, but ready-made gear was out of reach for a non-profit centre.

I don't have a 3D printer — what then?
You can order the print from a local print shop near you — the files are in the standard STL format, which any 3D printing service can handle.
Which inhaler should I buy?
Any cheap human inhaler/nebulizer. The adapters fit children's models among others; weaker ones can be paired up for more output.
Can I do all of this myself?
Yes, you can manage on your own — but you should consult everything with a veterinarian.
Do I need to talk to a vet?
Yes — always. This is equipment, not treatment. Use it only as your veterinarian directs; after each use wash, dry and disinfect it, and replace the foam regularly. We all love our animals and care for them with all our hearts — if you have any doubts about the mask's cleanliness, it's better to print a new one.
What if the horse destroys the mask?
You print another one from the same files — no ordering parts and no extra costs.
My horse is afraid of the mask.
You can get it used to the mask gradually, letting it wear the mask without nebulizing — with no risk of it damaging expensive gear. You can also extend the inhaler tubing and place the inhaler farther from the horse.
How do I clean it?
Washing and alcohol disinfection (PET-G withstands it). Replace the foam regularly. Print a new mask when needed. If you print in a different material, ask the manufacturer / seller how to clean it.
